About the Event
Join us at the Reverie Room for a one-night-only selection of miscast musical numbers that will never be performed by Ms. Brody ever again…for now.
Riva Brody (she/her) would be elated if you joined her for this wacky celebration of finding identity and saying, "Why not!" This is her first solo cabaret in New York City, but in 2020 she starred in a one-woman audio play of Becky Mode's Fully Committed. You may have seen her at NY venues such as 54 Below, The Tank Theatre, Paradise Factory, and Theatre Row. Proud graduate of UCLA’s Ray Bolger Musical Theatre program. She's especially honored to be directed by her childhood best friend, Benjamin Beardon.
PLEASE NOTE: THERE IS A $10 MINIMUM PURCHASE REQUIRED AT THE BODEGA DOWNSTAIRS BEFORE ENTERING THE VENUE.
A personal note from Riva:
Thank you for reading and indulging me in this wacky idea that came to me in the middle of the night. I'm so excited to sing some songs from roles that I will likely never play professionally. Selfishly, my BIRTHDAY is on August 13 and I would love for you to celebrate with me at this event. See you there!
If you don't live in New York/cannot attend the production and still would like to support, here's how:
1 ticket costs $20.50. It's your choice to decide how much you'd like to give.
All of the donated proceeds will go to discounting and offering free tickets to those who may not be able to afford the cost of a ticket.
All revenue from the show will go towards venue costs, paying the band, and other fees that may arise.
I also hope to hire a videographer and/or someone who will livestream the event for those who cannot attend.
